Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Lawnbright Lime Boost? How does Lime Boost work?
Lime Boost is a liquid calcium and magnesium supplement that helps raise soil pH. By reducing soil acidity, Lime Boost helps make nutrients more available for uptake by your grass. Increasing calcium and magnesium helps to build stronger walls in grass plants as well.
How do I know if I have a low pH?
At the start of any of our lawn plans, we provide a free soil test. This information will let us know your soil pH so we can adjust your plan accordingly. You can view your soil test results in your account dashboard, usually 2-3 weeks after you send it in.
Will I see immediate results on my lawn with Lime Boost?
Lime Boost is a soil conditioner, not a fertilizer with nitrogen, so you won’t see an instant green-up. However, your soil will be healthier, fertilizer you do apply will be more effective, and your lawn will bounce back better when growing conditions improve.
What is Green Machine?
Green Machine is a nitrogen-rich fertilizer that delivers a fast, targeted boost of nutrients that your lawn most needs during the growing season, especially nitrogen and potassium.
Nitrogen fuels chlorophyll production and boosts leaf and blade growth, helping your lawn look fuller and greener. When lawns are stressed, nitrogen helps them bounce back. Meanwhile, potassium strengthens cell walls and supports better root growth, improving water and nutrient uptake.
Does Green Machine contain any synthetic ingredients?
Green Machine does include a synthetic nitrogen source, but we mix in organic bio-stimulants that help feed soil microbes. This improves the soil ecosystem, so nutrients are released in a steadier way and your lawn builds long-term health instead of just a quick flush of growth.
Will I see immediate results on my lawn with Green Machine?
Yes. Green Machine provides a visible immediate greening of your lawn usually within days, but it also improves overall health and resilience over the course of weeks.
How much of my lawn will the bottles cover?
Each bottle covers about 3,000 sq ft. If you’re not sure of our lawn size, try Lawnbright’s handy Lawn Size Calculator.
Are the products safe for kids and pets?
Yes. All of our products are made from natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals. This means that they are safe for your kids and pets, as well as better for the earth and your grass.
I have too much product. Can I save it for later?
Yes. Lawnbright products have a shelf life of 1 year, so you can store products in your garage, shed or basement for next season.
I’m a beginner. Are the products hard to apply?
Not at all! Lawnbright is designed to be beginner friendly, with no special equipment needed. Simply hook your Lawnbright products up to your hose and spray them on your lawn - that’s it!
